Travel Registered Nurse – Oncology (RN)

This 13-week night shift contract (3×12-hour shifts) offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,350. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Deliver direct nursing care to oncology patients undergoing treatment or palliative care.

• Administer chemotherapy and manage side effects (if certified).

• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust care plans accordingly.

• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.

• Collaborate with oncologists, palliative care teams, and other healthcare professionals.

• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active New Mexico RN license (or compact eligible).

• Current BLS certification; ONS chemotherapy certification strongly preferred.

• Minimum 2 years’ recent oncology nursing experience.

• Strong skills in IV therapy, patient monitoring, and symptom management.

• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure.

• Comfortable working night shifts in a hospital oncology unit.
