Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Neurology Travel Registered Nurse for a reputable hospital in Rochester, New York. This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $3,550 based on a 4x12s Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Neurology RN:
- Provide nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, seizure disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases
- Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and patient responses to treatments
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and provide other nursing interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and recovery strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements of the Neurology RN:
- Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS required (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent neurology or med-surg experience with neuro patient exposure
- Strong neurological assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
