Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Deliver direct and compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient conditions

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system

• Ensure patient safety and promote a healing environment during overnight shifts

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active RN license (New Hampshire or compact state)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Minimum 2 years’ recent MedSurg/Tele experience

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical best practices

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
