Key Responsibilities of the MedSurg/Oncology Travel Nurse:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across medical-surgical and oncology units
- Administer medications, chemotherapy (if certified), treatments, and interventions as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate findings to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, oncology specialists, and interdisciplinary staff
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
Requirements of the Medsurg/Oncology Travel Nurse:

Active New York RN license (or eligibility to obtain).
- 2 year Medsurg/Oncology nursing experience required.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and communication skills.
