Travel Registered Nurse – MedSurg/Oncology (RN)

This 13-week night shift contract (3×12-hour shifts) offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,300. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Provide nursing care to patients with a variety of medical-surgical and oncology diagnoses.

• Administer chemotherapy and manage side effects per protocol (if certified).

• Monitor patient condition, document progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and oncology specialists.

• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes and treatment plans.

• Adhere strictly to infection control and hospital safety policies.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active New Mexico RN license (or compact eligible).

• BLS certification required; ONS chemotherapy certification preferred.

• ACLS certification may be required depending on facility.

• Minimum 2 years’ recent MedSurg and/or Oncology nursing experience.

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

• Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
