Travel Registered Nurse – MedSurg/Oncology

Key Responsibilities of the Travel MedSurg/Oncology RN:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients undergoing medical, surgical, and oncology treatments

• Administer medications, chemotherapy, and IV therapies according to established protocols

• Monitor and assess patient status, reporting changes promptly to the care team

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize outcomes

• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families throughout treatment

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per hospital policy

• Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and colleagues

Requirements of the Travel MedSurg/Oncology RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Alaska)

• BLS and NIH certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent MedSurg or Oncology experience

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
