Travel Registered Nurse – MedSurg Neuro Trauma

Key Responsibilities of the Travel MedSurg Neuro Trauma RN:

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients recovering from neurological injuries, trauma, and complex medical conditions

• Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and patient progress closely

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

• Maintain detailed, accurate patient documentation per hospital policy

• Educate patients and families on recovery, safety, and discharge planning

• Promote patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times

Requirements of the Travel MedSurg Neuro Trauma RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent MedSurg or Neuro Trauma experience

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
