Key Responsibilities

As a MedSurg Float Travel RN, you will:

• Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple MedSurg units as assigned
• Adapt quickly to different patient populations, workflows, and care teams
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
• Deliver evidence-based care for acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Accurately document patient assessments and interventions in EHR systems
• Support discharge planning and patient education
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license eligible)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of MedSurg or acute care experience required
• Strong adaptability and ability to float across multiple units
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced travel assignment setting
