Travel Registered Nurse – MedSurg

Key Responsibilities of the Travel MedSurg RN:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions

• Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications

• Manage multiple patients while prioritizing and responding to changing conditions

• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge needs

• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Requirements of the Travel MedSurg RN:

• Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS required.

• Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg experience in an acute care setting

• Strong clinical assessment, time-management, and communication skills

• Ability to care for a high-acuity, fast-paced patient population
