Key Responsibilities of the Travel LTAC RN:

• Provide skilled nursing care to medically complex and long-term acute patients

• Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, wound care, and high-acuity medical needs

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV therapies

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and stability

• Document all care and clinical changes accurately in the EMR

• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for long-term patient care

Requirements of the Travel LTAC RN:

• Active Illinois RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS and ACLS required

• Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC experience

• Strong skills in managing complex, high-acuity patients
