Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (RN)

Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Labor and Delivery assignment in San Antonio, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Care for patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum

• Monitor fetal heart tones, contractions, and maternal vital signs

• Administer IV medications and manage oxytocin and epidural drips

• Assist physicians during deliveries, including emergency C-sections

• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families

• Document all care clearly and in accordance with hospital protocols

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active RN license (Texas or compact state)

• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Experience with both routine and high-risk deliveries preferred

• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
