Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (RN)

Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Labor and Delivery assignment in Austin, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Provide care to laboring patients, assist in deliveries, and monitor fetal and maternal well-being

• Administer medications and manage epidural and oxytocin drips

• Assist OB/GYNs and support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period

• Respond to emergencies such as fetal distress or postpartum hemorrhage

• Collaborate with NICU, anesthesia, and other care team members

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital protocols

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active RN license (Texas or compact state)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• NRP and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring required

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent Labor and Delivery experience

• Experience with high-risk pregnancies preferred

• Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
