Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

Deliver safe, high-quality care to women before, during, and after labor and delivery
-
Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and labor progress
-
Administer medications, IVs, and epidural support as prescribed
-
Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries and emergency procedures

Provide post-partum care and education to mothers and families
-
Maintain detailed documentation in line with hospital and regulatory standards

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for mother and baby
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:

Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred)

Minimum of 2 years’ recent Labor and Delivery experience
