Key Responsibilities of the Travel Interventional Radiology Nurse:

Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures

Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
-
Administer moderate sedation and medications as ordered

Maintain sterile techniques and follow infection control protocols

Perform assessments and document patient responses accurately

Coordinate patient care with radiologists, technologists, and other staff

Travel as required to fulfill assignment expectations
Requirements ;of the Travel ;Interventional Radiology ;Nurse:

Active RN license in the state of Virginia ;

Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Strong IV and procedural sedation skills preferred
