Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Provide high-quality, critical care to ICU patients

Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting complex data and responding promptly to changes

Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, ensuring patient safety

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care

Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies

Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact License

Current BLS or ACLS certification

Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an ICU setting
