Travel Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Key Responsibilities of the travel ICU RN:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill or unstable patients

• Monitor and interpret vital signs, hemodynamic data, and ventilator settings

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips per physician orders

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

• Respond to emergencies, including cardiac arrests and rapid response calls

• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families

• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation according to hospital policy

Requirements of the travel ICU RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Alaska)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience in a hospital setting

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
