Travel Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Key Responsibilities of the ICU RN:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients

• Perform thorough assessments and respond to rapid changes in patient condition

• Manage ventilators, drips, and advanced life-support equipment

• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams

• Administer medications and titrate infusions per protocol

• Document patient status and interventions accurately in the EMR

• Participate in rapid response and code situations

Requirements of the ICU RN:

• Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain before start)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience

• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills

• Proficiency with ICU equipment and protocols
