Travel Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Endoscopy RN:

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for GI and endoscopic procedures

• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and ensure safe sedation practices

• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures and maintain a sterile environment

• Educate patients and families on procedural expectations and post-procedure care

• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR

• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia providers, and support staff

Requirements of the Travel Endoscopy RN:

• Active Massachusetts RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS certification required

• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience

• Strong critical thinking, patient education, and team communication skills
