Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients with acute and urgent conditions
-
Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize patients
-
Administer medications, monitor vitals, and respond to critical changes

Coordinate with ER physicians and the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes

Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment and aftercare
-
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and responses

Travel as required to fulfill contract obligations
Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active RN license in New York State
-
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

TNCC or CEN preferred
