Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (RN)

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Triage, assess, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department

• Deliver care in critical and non-critical situations following established protocols

• Rapidly recognize and respond to life-threatening conditions

• Work collaboratively with physicians, techs, and fellow nurses

• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform other emergency nursing procedures

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Provide emotional support to patients and families in crisis

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active RN license (New Hampshire or compact state license)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC and PALS preferred

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
