Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Triage and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions.

• Initiate emergency interventions and stabilize patients quickly.

• Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.

• Operate and monitor emergency equipment, including cardiac monitors and defibrillators.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, EMS personnel, and ancillary departments.

• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient progress.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active Texas RN license (or compact eligible).

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.

• Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a busy ED setting.

• Strong clinical judgment, multitasking ability, and communication skills.

• Comfortable working in fast-moving, high-stress environments.
