Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Triage, assess, and treat patients in the Emergency Department.

Respond promptly to trauma and medical emergencies.
-
Administer IVs, medications, and emergency interventions as ordered.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients.

Document patient assessments and treatments accurately in the EMR.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active Massachusetts RN license (or compact eligible).

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS and TNCC preferred).

Minimum of 2 years’ recent ED experience.

Proficiency in emergency protocols and strong critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
