Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Department RN:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing acute or life-threatening conditions

• Rapidly assess, triage, and treat patients in a fast-paced emergency environment

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders

• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation according to hospital policy

• Support and educate patients and families through emergency and recovery processes

Requirements of the Travel Emergency Department RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)

• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required. ;

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills
