Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Department RN:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a variety of acute and critical conditions

• Triage and assess patient needs quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment

• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders

• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses to treatment

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain detailed, timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards

• Support patients and families through education, communication, and emotional care

Requirements of the Travel Emergency Department RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Alaska)

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH and ENPC required. ;

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience including Stroke and STEMI. ;

• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and adaptability in high-stress situations
