Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $2,900, based on three 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, providing the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting within a nationally respected hospital system.

Key Responsibilities of the ED RN:

• Provide rapid, high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations

• Perform triage, assessments, and prioritize care based on patient acuity

• Respond quickly to critical situations, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol

• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams

• Operate emergency equipment and monitor vital signs and patient response

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements of the ED RN:

• Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience

• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
