Key Responsibilities of the Travel CVOR RN:

Provide perioperative nursing care for open-heart, cardiac, and vascular procedures
-
Prepare and maintain a sterile field and specialized CVOR equipment
-
Circulate and/or scrub during cardiovascular surgical cases
-
Monitor patient safety and respond to intraoperative changes
-
Collaborate closely with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
-
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements of the Travel CVOR RN:

Active Kansas RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

BLS and ACLS required.

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience

Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
