Travel Registered Nurse – CVOR

Key Responsibilities of the Travel CVOR RN:

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing open-heart and cardiovascular surgeries

• Circulate and assist during complex surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and scrub techs

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for cardiovascular procedures

• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and assist with postoperative care transitions

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and AORN standards

Requirements of the Travel CVOR RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Alaska)

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience in a hospital or surgical center

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure in high-acuity environments
