Travel Registered Nurse – CVICU

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced CVICU Travel Registered Nurse for a leading hospital in Peoria, Illinois. This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $3,000 based on a 3x12s Night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Travel CVICU RN:

• Provide specialized critical care for post-operative cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients

• Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamic lines, vasoactive drips, ventilators, and invasive devices

• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency interventions

• Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary care teams

• Ensure thorough and accurate documentation in the EMR

• Maintain strict adherence to CVICU safety standards and evidence-based practices

Requirements of the Travel CVICU RN:

• Active Illinois RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS and ACLS required

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience

• Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery recovery, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care best practices
