Travel Registered Nurse – Critical Care Unit (RN)

Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the ;Critical Care Unit (CCU) in Brockton, MA. This assignment offers a weekly blended rate of $3,100, based on three 12-hour Night shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Critical Care Nurse:

• Assess and evaluate the condition of critically ill patients continuously, using advanced monitoring equipment and diagnostics.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as directed by the physician or healthcare team to promote patient recovery and stability.
• Monitor and interpret complex data from various technological equipment including ventilators, hemodynamic monitors, and cardiac devices.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and education to promote their understanding of the condition, treatment plan, and prognosis.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and response to treatment accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records.
• Act swiftly and effectively during emergency situations, demonstrating proficiency in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and other critical care interventions.

Requirements ;of the Travel Critical Care Nurse:

• Active ;Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an Critical Care setting
