Travel Registered Nurse – Cath Lab

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Cath Lab RN:

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies

• Monitor patients’ vital signs, sedation levels, and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures

• Administer medications and contrast agents as ordered by physicians

• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and other members of the care team

• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient assessment, education, and monitoring

• Maintain sterile technique and ensure all equipment is properly set up and functioning

• Document patient care and procedural details accurately and efficiently

Requirements of the Travel Cath Lab RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience in a hospital or cardiac care setting

• Strong technical skills and ability to remain calm in high-acuity situations
