Travel Registered Nurse – Cath Lab

Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel nursing opportunity for a Travel ;Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) in Thousand Oaks, CA. This assignment offers a weekly blended rate of $2,800, based on five 8-hour day shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and electrophysiology studies

• Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status and respond to acute changes during procedures

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and supplies for all Cath Lab interventions

• Administer medications, IV contrast agents, and sedation per physician order

• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

• Document all aspects of care accurately in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Requirements of the Travel Nurse:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS and RCIS preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Cath Lab or Critical Care setting

• Strong critical thinking and hemodynamic monitoring skills
