Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (RN)

Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Cardiovascular Operating Room assignment in Round Rock, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Circulate and/or scrub in cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and vascular access

• Ensure all sterile technique, safety protocols, and equipment checks are followed

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia, and surgical techs

• Provide critical intraoperative support and patient advocacy

• Document procedures and respond quickly to emergency situations

• Participate in pre-op and post-op care coordination as needed

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active RN license (Texas or compact state)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• CNOR and CVOR experience strongly preferred

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR experience in an acute care setting

• Strong working knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation

• Ability to thrive in high-acuity, high-pressure environments
