Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Travel Registered Nurse for a reputable hospital in Rochester, New York. This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $2,800 based on a 3x12s Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the CVOR RN:
- Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, including open-heart and vascular surgeries
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and ensure availability of surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team
- Ensure adherence to strict sterile techniques and safety protocols
- Document intraoperative care accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements of the CVOR RN:
- Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, anatomy, and surgical techniques
- Ability to work rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
