Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
-
Monitor patient status throughout procedures and recovery
-
Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper equipment setup

Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other nurses in a high-acuity environment

Document patient care accurately and follow facility protocols

Support pre- and post-procedure patient education and care
Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active RN license (New York or compact, if applicable)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and patient monitoring
