Key Responsibilities of the Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and manage moderate sedation

• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and procedural staff

• Maintain accurate documentation throughout all phases of care

• Uphold sterile technique and safety protocols in a fast‑paced environment

Requirements of the Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN:

• Active Illinois RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS and ACLS required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience

• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac procedures, and emergency response
