Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab

Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide education on expectations and recovery

• Monitor and document patient hemodynamics throughout procedures

• Administer medications and sedation as appropriate

• Maintain and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment

• Ensure a sterile, safe procedural environment

• Support post-procedure patient recovery and ongoing assessment

• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members

Requirements of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN:

• Active West Virginia RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS and ACLS required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience

• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and hemodynamics

• Ability to respond quickly in high-acuity, time-sensitive settings
