Key Responsibilities of the Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and supplies during procedures

• Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures

• Administer medications, contrast agents, and sedation as directed

• Collaborate with physicians and the Cath Lab team to ensure safe, efficient patient care

• Provide post-procedure recovery care and monitor for complications

• Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures, medications, and patient responses

Requirements of the Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse:

• Active RN license (Massachusetts or compact state)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience

• Competent in Pre, Post and Intracath.

• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics

• Proficiency in operating Cath Lab monitoring and imaging systems
