Key Responsibilities of the Travel Radiology Technologist:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout each exam

• Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed

• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members to support accurate diagnoses

• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards at all times

• Maintain accurate documentation and image records in the EMR system

Requirements of the Travel Radiology Technologist:

• Active ARRT (R) certification required

• Active Illinois Radiologic Technologist license

• BLS certification required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care or hospital setting

• Strong technical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
