Key Responsibilities of the Travel Physical Therapist:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals to optimize patient outcomes

• Educate patients and families on exercises, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

• Adhere to all facility, state, and federal guidelines for physical therapy services

Requirements of the Travel Physical Therapist:

• Active Connecticut PT license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

• BLS certification required

• Minimum of 1 years of recent Physical Therapy experience in an acute setting

• Strong communication, assessment, and patient engagement skills

• Dedication to evidence-based, patient-centered care
