Key Responsibilities of the Travel Physical Therapist:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Educate patients and families on exercise programs, safety, and recovery processes

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system

• Adhere to all state and facility policies, standards, and safety regulations

Requirements of the Travel Physical Therapist:

• Active Illinois PT license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

• BLS certification required

• Minimum of 1 years of recent Physical Therapy experience in an acute, outpatient, or rehab setting

• Strong communication, assessment, and patient engagement skills
