This contract features a competitive weekly blended rate of $1,300, working five 8-hour day shifts per week (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM), totaling 40 hours weekly, with overtime opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

• Verify prescription information and maintain accurate patient records

• Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper storage and labeling of drugs

• Process insurance claims and handle prescription orders in compliance with state and federal laws

• Provide excellent customer service by answering patient questions and coordinating with healthcare providers

• Support sterile and non-sterile compounding under supervision as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license and registration with the NYS Department of Education

• At least 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience (hospital or retail setting)

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and prescription processing

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
