Key Responsibilities of the Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist:
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in acute and specialty care settings
- Administer respiratory therapies including aerosol treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator support
- Monitor patient response to treatments and adjust care plans as needed
- Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpret results
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home-care techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies
Requirements ;of the Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist:

Active West Virginia RRT license or valid Compact license

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting
