Travel Nurse – RN – MS/TELE – Medical Surgical/Telemetry – $2434 / Week

Lancesoft is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel Nursing job in West Burlington, IA. Shift: 3×12 hr days Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $2434 / Week

• The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high quality patient care on the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team and effectively communicates with patients, families, and staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• The RN will care for adult and geriatric patients on Med/Surg and Telemetry units. Traveler will be responsible for self studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A Basic Dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week of assignment and must be passed to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
• Units: Med/Surg & Telemetry (ACU)
• EMR: Cerner
• Hours: 36 hours/week (72 per pay period); overtime possible
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required to all non critical care inpatient units, including ED boarding patients; may float to CCU if traveler has critical care experience

Nurse to Patient Ratios:

• Telemetry: Days 1:4-1:5 Nights 1:5-1:6
• Med/Surg: Days 1:5 Nights 1:6

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state specific or compact)
• ACLS required
• Med/Surg and Telemetry experience required
• Ability to float as needed
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
