Position: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Surgery ICU (CSICU) / Cardiac Surgery Unit (CSU)

Shift: Nights, 4×12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2,650 gross for 48 hours ($27/hr on W2 and $1,246 weekly stipend)

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) / Cardiac Surgery Unit (CSU) at a leading healthcare facility in Tuscaloosa, AL. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs to join a dedicated team and provide exceptional care to critically ill patients recovering from cardiac surgery or those with complex cardiovascular conditions.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing, demonstrating expertise in managing post-operative cardiac patients and those requiring intensive monitoring in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements:

Experience: 2+ years of recent CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) experience required

Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Certification in Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care (preferred)

Ability to provide critical care to post-operative cardiac patients and those requiring intensive monitoring
Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and ability to manage complex cases
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
