Travel Licensed Practical Nurse – Hematology and Oncology

Seven Healthcare is pleased to present a rewarding travel nursing opportunity for a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in ;Hematology and Oncology in Winston-Salem, NC. This assignment offers a weekly blended rate between $1,400 for local candidates and $1,520 for travel, based on five 8-hour shifts across day shifts.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel LPN Hematology/Oncology Nurse:

• Provide direct nursing care to hematology/oncology patients under the supervision of an RN or physician.

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered.

• Assist with chemotherapy preparation and monitoring patient tolerance to treatment.

• Collect and document patient vitals, health histories, and responses to care.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.

• Support providers during exams, procedures, and follow-up visits.

• Monitor for side effects or complications and report changes promptly.

• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

• Contribute to a supportive, compassionate care environment for patients and families.

Requirements for the Travel LPN Hematology/Oncology Nurse:

• Active North Carolina LPN or LVN license

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in ;ambulatory clinic
