Travel Licensed Practical Nurse – Geriatrics

Seven Healthcare is pleased to present a rewarding travel nursing opportunity for a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a Geriatric setting in Jacksonville, NC. This assignment offers a weekly blended rate of $1,350, based on three 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities of a Travel Geriatric LPN:

• Provide hands-on care to geriatric patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and performing basic nursing procedures.

• Work closely with physicians, registered nurses (RNs), and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each resident.

• Observe and record patients’ conditions and vital signs, report changes in health status, and assist in the management of chronic conditions or acute illnesses.

• Accurately document all patient interactions, treatments, and changes in health status in electronic medical records (EMR).

• Advocate for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents and communicate concerns or changes to the care team as needed.

• Communicate with family members to provide updates on patients’ conditions, address concerns, and provide emotional support.

Requirements ;for the Travel Geriatric LPN:

• Active North Carolina or Compact LPN/LVN license

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a geriatric setting
