Key Responsibilities of the Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist:

• Assist radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and specialized equipment

• Operate fluoroscopy and angiography systems with precision and safety

• Monitor and document patient status and procedural data throughout cases

• Ensure accurate imaging capture and post-procedure documentation

• Maintain and troubleshoot IR equipment to ensure optimal performance

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes

Requirements of the Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist:

• Active ARRT (R) certification required; (VI) or (CI) preferred

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience in an acute care setting

• Strong understanding of vascular anatomy, sterile technique, and radiation safety

• Excellent technical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
