Travel Certified Surgical Technologist – CVOR

Key Responsibilities of the Travel CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist:

• Assist surgeons during complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and equipment

• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures to ensure smooth workflow

• Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure patient safety

• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards

• Handle surgical specimens and ensure accurate labeling and documentation

• Prepare operating rooms for procedures and ensure proper functioning of all surgical equipment

Requirements of the Travel CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist:

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA required

• BLS certification required

• Minimum of 3 years of recent CV experience.

• Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular surgical instruments and procedures

• Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
