These include, but are not limited to, the following: Coronary Artery Bypass, Ascending Aortic Aneurysms, Valve Repair and Replacement, Structural Heart Procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip), Thoracic Organ (Heart and Lung) Transplant, ECMO, Ventricular Assist Devices, redo and emergent cases. Adult scrub experience required, pediatric scrub experience a plus. Ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills a must. Numerous research protocols- ongoing.Certs- BLS (must be AHA) required. CST and state registration at time of submittalUnderstand overtime may be necessary.Call is required approx. 1-2 12 hour shift M-F and 1 weekend per month.Excellent communication skills, team player, participates in professional activities of the department.
