Key Responsibilities of the SLP:

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per facility and state guidelines

• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home programs

• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to discharge planning

Qualifications:

• Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred – CFs may also be considered

• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills

• Previous clinical or rehab experience preferred
